The Interactive Traffic Maps have been tested using the following browsers: IE6, IE7, FireFox 1.5 and 2.0, Safari, and Opera versions below 9.0. JavaScript must be enabled in the browser settings. A high-speed internet connection is highly recommended for best performance, a dial-up connection will not produce optimal results.

Map Filters
Items on the map can be viewed either by County or Zip Code. On the first visit to the map page, New Castle County will be selected with no categories checked. On subsequent visits, the map page recalls the most recent categories selected along with the County or Zip Code view.

View by County
To change counties, select another county in the drop-down selection box.

View by Zip Code
To switch to Zip Code view, click on Zip and select a zip code in the drop-down selection box that appears below. A radius can also be selected with the Zip Code view.

Select Categories
Using the mouse, place a check in the checkbox next to the associated categories to view those items on the map. The available categories are as follows:

	Advisory - Current traffic conditions as reported by the DelDOT Transportation Management Center. These advisories are updated 24 hours a day and include only those incidents which have the potential to impact traffic significantly.
	Restriction - Lane restrictions and road closures due to planned construction activities.
	Camera - Streaming video of live traffic conditions.
	Weather - Current weather conditions along critical sections of the transportation network.

Map navigation
Zoom in and out and move the map up/down/left/right by using the standard Google navigation + and – signs in the upper left-hand corner of the map. Clicking a point on the map and dragging the mouse is another way to move the map up/down/left/right.
